Energy awareness is key to delivering Energy savings
Interactive learning on how to identify, prioritise and deliver energy savings.
The Energy Awareness Workshop is an interactive half day of learning, knowledge sharing and action planning. This version is specifically aimed at schools and other education providers.
It has been created for the non-technical staff members including bursars, business managers, heads of departments and facilities managers.
The workshop’s outcome is to bridge the knowledge gap between the utility bill costs through the school's actual energy consumption and identifies energy savings that will save money and reduce your Carbon Footprint.
The workshop format
During the pandemic we are delivering the workshop remotely via Teams or Zoom.
We provide a free-to-attend workshop in a public format with other schools and their staff and we also provide a bespoke on-site workshop for your own school. The bespoke workshop includes a high level audit of your site before the training day so we can better tailor the output to your needs and priorities.
Regardless of which workshop you attend we will only be focusing exclusively on Energy Awareness in Schools.
During the workshop we will cover the following topics:
- Setting the context: The drive for sustainable business
- Your energy bills demystified, estimated vs actual billing
- Energy terminology explained
- Identification of major energy using equipment
- Energy reduction project case studies
- Delivering successful energy savings projects
