GUILDFORD, SURREY, UK — Monday, 4th June 2012: Ecopare Ltd today announced the general availability of its new Water Feed Analysis solution. Designed for practicality, the solution provides an organisation with a rapid Water Consumption Profile without the capital outlay for usually needed for new meters. The solution combines a set of robust non-intrusive Automated Meter Reading devices with Ecopare’s Energy Personality Platform. This provides real-time water consumption information at a sub-facility level.
This solution is aimed at clients who want to understand more about their water consumption at granular level – not just by incoming meter for the month but for specific areas in a facility by hour (or even down to by minute if required). A key feature of the solution is it is non-invasive so loss of water is not an issue. This is necessary for specific clients such as in the health sector, food processing sector or the hotel sector where loss of water is unacceptable.
“The aim of the solution is to provide an analytical solution to an area that is perceived to be difficult to measure without installing new meters.” commented Craig Astfalck, Managing Director of Ecopare. “Our first beta client wanted a simple answer to a question of what is his water consumption profile, where is it being used and how much of it adds value to the business. The outcome was that we identified a leak in the system that was costing the business £1,000 a month.”
“The solution is fully managed from installation; data collection; analysis and presenting the water consumption profile back to the client. The benefit to the client is a rapid understanding of their water consumption profile at a detailed level. Armed with this information the client is able to forecast its water usage, drive down consumption levels and in some cases deliver substantial savings with little effort. ”
