About Ecopare

Ecopare was founded in 2010 as a Practical Energy Management company that delivers energy savings to clients in the Industrial sector.

Through its main Lean Energy Management solution it has delivered over 4 MWh of energy savings per year for its clients. It has expanded its range of services to include thermographic auditing, Power Quality Analysis and smart metering solutions. The result is a dynamic company offering a full range of energy reduction solutions.

In 2013 Ecopare began delivering LED lighting projects to its clients - these projects were at the forefront of LED Lighting revolution and we have grown our team to deliver complex lighting solutions into the industrial, commercial and academic sectors.

In 2019 the firm has added a new range of services in the Electric Vehicle Charging market. We believe that this coupled with battery storage technology will be the next area of investment for forward thinking companies.

We are based in The Surrey Research Park, Guildford and we have a regional office in Banbury, Oxfordshire.

Craig Astfalck CEA, CLEP

Managing Director


Craig Astfalck is founder and Managing Director of Ecopare. He has enjoyed a 22-year career as an entrepreneur in the information technology and management consulting industries. His speciality has been helping organisations become more competitive through the use of practical technology adoption.

Adrian Green CMVP

Projects Director


Adrian Green is primarily responsible for the delivery of our energy data acquisition projects. Adrian is experienced in deploying various types of energy sensors into complex environments from automotive plants through to schools. Adrian has recently taken up the role of head of Ecopare's Public Sector team. This team is focused on delivering practical energy management solutions that reduce energy consumption in public sector organisations.

Amelda Astfalck

Operations Director


Amelda Astfalck is a seasoned project manager with a particular emphasis on projects involving marketing, stakeholder management and large events. She has delivered projects in both public and private sector organisations that involved a high level of organisational and event management skills. Amelda heads Ecopare's operational support team.
