Ecopare are continuing to educate schools and colleges around the UK, demonstrating ways to reduce energy consumption at their sites.
Ecopare have run a number of successful Energy Awareness Workshops for Schools in January and February this year in Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Surrey.
The Workshops attracted Bursars, Business Managers, Estates Managers and Facilities Managers from a range of independent and state schools including Wellington College, Pangbourne College and
Sibford School, with excellent feedback received from attendees.
“I thought the workshop was excellent, very well presented, interesting and relevant.
It has given me many key pointers to drastically reduce excess energy consumption on this site.”
Estates Team Leader, LVS School
“Thank you to the team for yesterday’s seminar, I found it very useful to frame the investigation work I need to undertake as a relatively new Bursar.
It also provided useful clarification on understanding the technicalities of the energy bills themselves.”
Bursar, Greenfield School
“Thank you for the workshop yesterday, it was very informative and relevant and the bacon butties were an added bonus.”
Business Manager, St. Thomas of Canterbury School
The Workshop is an interactive half day of learning, knowledge sharing and action planning. It is created with schools in mind and deals with the concept of energy being a resource that can be actively managed. The workshop’s goal is to bridge the knowledge gap between the utility bill costs versus the actual energy consumption at point of use.
Our next Energy Awareness Workshop for Schools is taking place on Wednesday 17 May at Oxford Golf Club. If you are interested in attending this free session,
